Hello Cornwall!
There is a lot of cute little towns around the coast in England. The Cornwall area, down south west is very popular especially in summertime. One place that we liked the most is Newquay, known for surfing and its beautiful beaches.
Let`s explore the Newquay area and a little bit around!
Start the day with a walk along the coastline towards the Trevose head, this is a must do because the walk itself has an outstanding view. Take a break at Porth Beach and a coffee at The Laid-Back Coffee Co and relax in their cosy sofa area. Next door is Roo`s Beach, a pretty shop with a mix of clothing, accessorize and interior things, perfect for a coastal living. I couldn't resist two things, a neckless with a 'hello' in wood and a bunch of temporary tattoos a la ice cream.
Head back to the city centre of Newquay for lunch at The Boathouse. A restaurant with a bunch of local goodies, mostly fish. Stroll around in the little city centre, pop in the shop MMW at Revolver. Buy an ice cream and wander to Fistral Beach, which is known for its good surfing. Surf here for a bit or just watch the surfers in the turquoise colored water. To spend time here in Newquay actually don't feel so much as England, more like a exotic country with the beachy shops, the surfers, the palm trees and the relaxed people walking around in flip flops.
We stay at the beach for the rest of this day. Dinner is spent at Gilmore`s - a really nice place with Mexican food. Do try their fish burrito, it is yummy! You can also play a bit of mini golf here if you want to.
